The draft Revegetation Plan includes a mix of local native species, including tall shade trees, smaller trees, shrubs and native grasses, similar to other areas of the reserve. The selected species aim to increase shade, support native wildlife and improve biodiversity.

A new visitor area is being considered to improve access to the reserve. This may include a small gravel car park, picnic tables and shelters.

A Discovery Trail is also being proposed along the existing Aqueduct Trail to highlight the reserve’s natural and historical features. This may include interpretive signage and small, unobtrusive sculptures or artworks.
